SWOCL AGM Sunday April 5th

The SWOCL AGM will take place at the Niagra Shrine Club, prior to the morning round of the Niagra Falls Open. This meeting will start at 9:30am, running no later than 9:55am. The outgoing executive will be heard from, and the incoming executive will be elected, in addition to the nomination of governors representing SWOCL. If interested in being involved in SWOCL activities, consider attending next Sunday, April 5th!

The election of CFC governors is very significant. Their role in the CFC is most important. See my article just published in the Chess Canada Webzine, under " General Interest ", entitled : " The Important Role of the Governor in the CFC ".

This article will also be published in the upcoming April 1 Issue of Scarborough Community of Toronto Chess News & Views, in preparation for the CFC Governor elections in the GTA at the Saturday, May 2 GTCL AGM.

I hope the article will be of interest to all CFC members re voting for their CFC Governors for 2009-10.
