    Talking Update

    Hi all

We've passed 100 players with currently 109 on the list. Although we may or not reach 150 players, it'll be close and we should definitely break our previous record of 134.

If you are playing in either the Canadian Open (Toronto Harbour Castle July 10-18), or the Canadian Junior (Hart House April 30 - May 4), keep in mind that you need to complete your registration in advance.

Brian Fiedler will be taking cheque and cash registrations for the Canadian Open, at some point this weekend at Hart House.

The Hart House Chess Club will be doing the same regarding the Canadian Junior. -- http://hhchess.sa.utoronto.ca/cj

On other news, the Toronto Open will be played in the Great Hall
I was able to move us there instead of the previous arrangements to play in the Music & Debates / East Common Rooms. This means we'll all be playing in the same room, a much nicer one at that. It's where we held the Canadian Post-Secondary Chess Championship in January with great success.

See you all in a few days,
