2. Voting Member Sign-in - sign in by voting for any of the options

For the benefit of newcomers to the CFC Voting Member Assembly - we register attendance at this meeting by Voting Members 'voting' in the sign-in thread of each meeting.

Since the forum software does not allow "votes" with only one voting option our practice is to have a "vote" usually as a fun question. We do NOT keep track of who voted how on the sign-in votes and they are NOT used for any other purpose than recording who is in attendance.

We try to make these questions fun and I would welcome suggestions from VMs on the sign-in questions for future meetings.

Just for the record I would like to encourage any Voting Member (when there's an Assembly meeting coming up fairly soon) who has a question they'd REALLY like to have asked as a sign-in question just e-mail me and ask for it.

Please understand these sign-in questions are NOT used in CFC governance but if they get Voting Members thinking or at least at any rate amused then the questions have served their purpose.

(For the benefit of new Voting Members, we do the sign in questions because the easiest way to measure who's here is to give you folks something you need to click to register your presence and the forum software does not allow 'votes' with only one voting option! That's why we do the sign in the way we do - ANY of the above options counts you as "in attendance" and we don't use them for anything other than counting how many VMs have signed in)
