2023 EOCA Ottawa YCC Qualifier

This is an event to qualify EOCA players to play in the Canadian Youth Chess Championship (CYCC) which will be in Calgary July 19 to 22, 2023. You qualify by scoring 50%.
The CYCC in Calgary is a National Championship that qualifies the best players, boys and girls, to the World Cadet Chess Championship (U8-U10-U12) in Egypt and to the World Youth Chess Championship (U14-U16-U18) in Italy.

Place: RA Centre, 2451 Riverside Drive, Ottawa –

Room(s): Outaouais Room, maximum 50 persons.
Format: U8 / U10 / U12/ U14/ U16/U18 - 5 rounds Swiss or Round Robin, CFC rapid rated.

Time Control: 25 minutes + 5 seconds per move.

Rounds: 10AM, 11AM, Lunch, 1 PM, 2 PM, 3 PM

Entry Fee: $40. No walk-ins. Pre-registration is required by April 13.
