Thanks to all for participating in our 150th anniversary celebration of the Hamilton City Chess Club.
Final count was 114 players, including myself when I floated myself in for round 5 to avoid a forced bye.
And the winners are:
Open section - a four way tie at 4 points, $ 550 each, trophies based on tiebreaks
1st - Nicholas Vettese
2nd - Kyle Morrison
3rd - Razvan Preotu & Hairan Liang
U1800 Section
1st - Devin Nicholson 4.5 points, $ 400
2nd - Gurdev Singh 4 points, $ 250
3rd - Venkat Karthikeya Reddy Kola 4 pints $ 250
U1200 Section - a three way tie at 4.5 points, $ 170 each, trophies based on tiebreak.
