The Mexican Chess Federation (FENAMAC) with the approval of the Confederation of Chess for America (CCA) and FIDE invites to the North American Junior Chess Championship U20 “Mexico 2022”.

Venue : The tournament will be held at Del Prado Hotel (Salón Montenegro), in Av. Marina Nacional 399, Verónica Anzures, Miguel Hidalgo, Mexico City.
Eligibility:
Chess players with a FIDE ID and a flag from Mexico, USA or Canada, born since the year 2002.

Tournament Details and Time Control:
● System:
The tournament will be played according to the Swiss System in 9 rounds. Pairings will be made with the FIDE official software, Swiss-Manager.
● Time control:
90 minutes with an increment of 30 seconds per move starting from the 1st move.
Hotel : Del Prado Hotel.
For Security and organizational reasons all national delegations are obliged to use the official hotel designated by the Organizing Committee.

Registration - Deadline is Oct 21
CFC is accepting entries for eligible players until Oct 21, 2022. No registrations will be accepted after Oct 21, 2022.

Official Players Selection:
The highest CFC/FQE regular rating on the deadline date.
Within one CFC chess calendar year from Jul to Jul, players who already received official benefit will not be considered unless there is no other player register for the section.
Official Representatives will have the coverage for accommodation in designated hotel by the organizer base on a double occupancy room and meals in the official hotel starting from lunch on Dec 1 and ending with breakfast on Dec 6.
