North American Junior Chess Championship U20
Mexico City, December 1 to 6, 2022
The Mexican Chess Federation (FENAMAC) with the approval of the Confederation of Chess for America (CCA) and FIDE invites to the North American Junior Chess Championship U20 “Mexico 2022”.

Venue : The tournament will be held at Del Prado Hotel (Salón Montenegro), in Av. Marina Nacional 399, Verónica Anzures, Miguel Hidalgo, Mexico City.
Eligibility:
Chess players with a FIDE ID and a flag from Mexico, USA or Canada, born since the year 2002.

Tournament Details and Time Control:
● System:
The tournament will be played according to the Swiss System in 9 rounds. Pairings will be made with the FIDE official software, Swiss-Manager.
● Time control:
90 minutes with an increment of 30 seconds per move starting from the 1st move.
Hotel : Del Prado Hotel.
For Security and organizational reasons all national delegations are obliged to use the official hotel designated by the Organizing Committee.

Registration - Deadline is Oct 21
CFC is accepting entries for eligible players until Oct 21, 2022. No registrations will be accepted after Oct 21, 2022.

Official Players Selection:
The highest CFC/FQE regular rating on the deadline date.
Within one CFC chess calendar year from Jul to Jul, players who already received official benefit will not be considered unless there is no other player register for the section.
Official Representatives will have the coverage for accommodation in designated hotel by the organizer base on a double occupancy room and meals in the official hotel starting from lunch on Dec 1 and ending with breakfast on Dec 6.

Thank you very much for registration into CFC google form for North American Junior U20.
The selection of the official players for both Open and Girls section is done.
The official player of Open section is awarded to Eugene Hua.
The official player of Girls section is awarded to Michelle Hua
For all other players who will be considered as additional players.
I have attached the regulation file and on page 5, there are the registration instructions to you.
All players will register themselves into the tournament.
Send the organizer all required documents that they are asking.
When you do the calculation of the fee, here are few points to remember.
1. registration is USD $150 until Oct 28, so send in your registration ASAP. otherwise you will have until Dec 1 but with higher registration fee.
2. Calculate your hotel fee, if you order a double room which means for two people. If your order a single room, which is for one person.
3. If you need shuttle service, add USD$20 per person
4. also add USD$10 per person for credentials fee.
Remember to wire out your money, detail bank information is on page 5. Also be aware there is a bank wire fee that will be charged to you by your bank. Once the money is wired out, remember to send the receipt to the organizer about your payment.
If anyone who decide to go, then please write a note to me. I will issue an letter of permission for you to participate.
Again all registrations are done by the players.
