    Default Wycc-2022

Mamaia, Romania. After 8 rounds S.Rodrigue-Lemieux (U-18) shares 1-3 place with 6.5 points. A very solid field in this section.

In U-14 Girls Rachel Chen has 5.5 points after 4/4 start. I still feel sorry for her as she could not play at Olympiad-2022 in India due to visa problems.

Shawn has now 8.5/10, 1 whole point above other contenders. Draw in the last round gives him a title.

    Great news for morning Congrats

I was thinking what age groups CAN still needs to conquer. Seems an easy way with wiki: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_...s_Championship

    Those are already checked

    U18 - Shawn Rodrigue-Lemieux
    GU14 - Qiyu Zhou
U10 2x - Jeff Sarwer and Jason Cao
    GU10 - Julia Sarwer
    GU08 - Harmony Zhu

At the end, Shawn has 1 point advantage over 2nd place. If I remember correctly, previous Canadian Junior Champions got the title by better tie-breaks.
