    Default Rating updates

It has been a very long week for me, but the weekly rating update is now done.
COVID is over, chess is opening up across Canada.

The weekly rating update has been late the last few weeks as the flood of post COVID renewals hit the office.
This week included 2 major events with strong turnout, Keres Memorial and Ontario Open. Thank you everyone for your patience.

Hopefully we can get back to Wednesday evening updates starting next week.

Canadian Open and CYCC are fast approaching. CYCC starts on July 7, so the July 6 update will need to be on time.
We will be skipping the weekly update on July 13. I will be busy.

The rating update will be very late this week.
The CFC work backed up on me while I was at the CYCC and Canadian Open.

The backlog is worse than I had expected plus a few unexpected problems added to the pain.
Working on it ASAP, but it would be foolish to promise an update today.

FYI - if you search ratings or tournaments you can see the date of most previous update.
Nevertheless, I will post here when the update is complete.

Bob, you do incredible work for the CFC, especially sheer "counted upon" volume.

Take whatever time you need man, you don't want to burn out or otherwise hurt.

Okay, last weeks update is finally done.
    combined with this week's,
    but only the regular ratings.

Next up - process a mountain of tournaments for FIDE rating for August 1 update.

We'll get the quick ratings updated ASAP but there are some issues to resolve.

This weeks update finally finished earlier this afternoon.
Both regular and Quick ratings done.

But, I was not able to resolve all the problems in time.
Also, some tournaments submitted had errors and unable to process today.

Hopefully, we can get back to regular Wednesday updates next week. Fingers crossed.

If your problem wasn't resolved or your tournament not rated, please send me an email to follow up.

Either I know of the problem or I don't know of the problem, either way it gets on my radar!!

If anyone is staying up late hoping for a rating update, I suggest you get some sleep.
It's a really big update this week, and some technical problems encountered as well.
Hopefully it's smooth sailing from here, but at least 2 hours to go.

So mostly likely not finished until morning.

Sorry folks. The rating update is very late again this week.
    For a number of reasons.

My ETA is now 3pm today.

If ever you want to know if the latest update is done,
click on the ratings quick link, list of tournaments, and the last update date is there.

Hopefully that reads 2023-03-31 in a few hours.

Sorry folks. The rating update will be late this week.
Maybe tonight, but more likely tomorrow by noon.
I had a tooth extracted this morning, just got back from the store to stock up on soft foods.
Just waiting now for the freezing to wear off and the pain to begin.

I've been lucky with a half a dozen extracted teeth over the years. No real pain after freezing wore off in each case (of 1 tooth out at a time).

Bad news. Our download from JustGo membership system is not working.
We are contacting JustGo technical support for assistance. The problem is at their end.
We are stuck until they fix it.

Most likely there is no rating update this week.
    Sorry folks.
