2022 FIDE World School Chess Championship
This is the official invitation to all FIDE Members Chess Federations and eligible players to participate in the World School Chess Championship 2022 (categories for boys/open and girls under 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 17 years old) The championship will be held in Panama City from June 10th to June 19th, 2022, under the auspices of the International Chess Federation (FIDE) and the Panama Chess Federation.

Playing Venue
The games will take place in WYDHAM CONVENTION CENTER in Albrook Hotel in Panama City.
Tournament Format and Time Control:
9 Rounds, Swiss System.
The time control shall be 90 minutes with an additional 30 seconds per move from move one

Fees:
An invoice will be created for each family
FIDE Entry Fee : USD $45 per player
Tournament Registration fee : USD $110.00 per player
Accompanying person fee: $90 per person
Hotel booking fee: will be calculated base on each family
CFC Administration fee: CAN 50 per person
CFC exchange rate is 1.35.
NO Official player(s) for this tournament. It is open to all players.

Official Hotel : Wyndham Albrook Hotel
All participants are obliged to stay in official hotels, organizers can penalize if don’t, and bookings must be done only through the organizers.
Accommodation includes for 9 nights per person with meals included (breakfast, lunch, and dinner)
Prices per person: (Organiser will choose the accommodation hotel for the participant) •
1) U$ 711 total in a double room for 9 nights with meals included (U$ 79.00 per day)
2) U$ 612 total in a triple* room for 9 nights with meals included (U$ 68.00 per day)
3) U$ 837 total in a single room for 9 nights with meals included (U$ 93.00 per day)

We had 3 players participating in World School and coming home with great pride.

U13O Johnathan Han finished 1st place.
U11O Aaron Mendes finished 1st place.
U11G Marie Guan tied for 11th place.
