Unusual but cool chess slang
There's been some unusual but cool chess slang over the years; maybe other posters have examples. Here's a couple I've heard or seen:
1) 'He's gone in the tank' - used in Toronto circa 1980s, with reference to 'think tank' in real world - a player is investing a lot of time thinking about many aspects of chess, as a way to improve;
2) '[X] is a [or the] man's move' - used in Canada and internationally [even in book(s)] on occasion - a player should play a move like X in the opening if he is a man rather than a mouse.
