Default AIDEF Online Championships (two tournaments)

The English version of the announcement can be found here: https://aidef-tournois-en-ligne.com/presentation-uk/ .

We need two Canadian teams of 4 players and up to two reserve players. At least one Women must be playing each rounds.

Here are the rules of those two tournaments : Championship Section and Amateur Section.

There is only one prize in the Championship Section: a free ticket and hotel to the next RIDEFF (the over the board Fracophonie Chess Championship with both Direct Titles and GM and IM Norms). This prize is very valuable and would allow us to send many more players that we can afford.

I think you've attached the rules for the Championship Section twice

Will players for at least the Championship section team be applying to Victor Plotkin ? It is my opinion that the Championship Section will overlap with the Zonal, although Aris could start the Zonal the day after this event - in any case we have lots of strong players.

I have been told that the link to google document is not always reliable.

Apart from the dates, this is the main difference between the two tournaments.

My role as an AIDEF director is to promote the tournament to AIDEF members', not to select the players which is a task for the Executive.

Congratulation to team Canada for its unofficial third place, pending Fair Play checks, in the First Coupe d'échecs en ligne par équipes de la Francophonie.

In this tournament, a victory was two match points, a draw one match point and a loss zero match point. Canada's third place by two points is just one victory short of first place. Canada had more game points then the two first teams.

Interesting that at least two players on the "Canada" team were from Quebec.

So far, just 1 (one) entry. Canada needs at least 3 more.
