    Could you please clarify:
How to register for this Preliminary tournament?
    Thanks,

We should remember that the 1st Francophone online chess team cup, and the 1st Francophone online chess team championship, will be held May 15th and 16th and May 29th and 30th respectively. Both of these require at least one Woman on the team. The Championship offers a first prize that is very attractive to us.

In all previous editions, GM norms were possibles at the RIDEF. Nobody knows when the next one will be organized because of the pandemic, but a free plane ticket and a free hotel at a GM norm tournament is something that we should strive to obtain.

Pierre, you better start another thread. I am not sure if your information is relevant in this thread.

The relevant part is that the CFC must not organize any competing events at the same time.

Has this information been shared with potential Canadian players ? Online or Hybrid, etc ? I suspect the second weekend will overlap the Canadian Zonal events.
