Australian-American songstress Helen Reddy died recently; she may have been best-known for her signature song I am Woman, which became a feminist anthem of sorts:

It says she earned a degree in clinical hypnotherapy and neurolinguistic programming (NLP). I was not aware that such a thing existed. I get postcards from Richard Bandler for trainings around the U.S. for NLP. One of these days, I may attend one of them.

I had a brief bout of depression decades ago, and I had a short experience with hypnosis. One thing it led to was a discovery of some experiences I had before I was born into my present life. Considering myself a (somewhat unorthodox) Christian these days, I don't view this as being necessarily in conflict with the bible, even if one takes it literally and also flawlessly translated into English over time.

Regarding NLP, I'm wondering if it in theory might support a perhaps faintly related notion of mine. Namely that it may not be best to always heap psychiatric patients together (the worst case being old-time Bedlam), but rather the best way to bring a psychiatric patient back towards normalcy might sometimes include surrounding them from the beginning with fairly normal people, even if it's just say trained volunteers (or staff) in a hospital.
