CFC RFP: Books and Equipment Contract

The Chess Federation of Canada (CFC) seeks a vendor to handle its merchandising, including, but not limited to, the retail of books and equipment. The CFC provides prominent space on its website, logistical support in the processing of orders and its brand. The successful applicant provides a marketing strategy consistent with the CFC's goals, while offering competitive pricing to both its membership and the wider chess community. Hi Fred:

I thought before we dealt with:

a) books - through a commission on redirection contract with Amazon;
b) equipment - through a contract fulfilment agreement with FEN.

This RFP brings these two together. Are we cancelling our contract with Amazon?

Right now we get a small percentage on any books sold on Amazon from people who go there through our web site. If we accept a proposal from a vendor who has Chess Books, then we would simply wrap up this arrangement with Amazon.
