Some News From FIDE Americas

FIDE Americas President Jorge Vega has advised that the Continental Championiship (aka the PanAmerican) has become an annual event. He was able to negotiate an extra qualificaton spot for the World Cup, so each annual championship will qualify 4 players.

I hope to have more details about this very soon.

Great news! It's a very stacked event and certainly deserves another spot. Those Cubans....
