Continental championship 2023

Major details:

1. May 14-24, 2023. Juan Dolio, Dominican Republic

2. Official Hotel: Emotions by Hodelpa, Juan Dolio

3. Single room: 147 USD/night, all inclusive. Double room: 122 USD/night, all inclusive.

4. Schedule: 2 days with 2 games/day: rounds 2-3 and rounds 6-7.

5. Swiss, 11 rounds.

6. Prize fund: total 20000 USD. Winner - 5000 USD, 20th place - 200 USD.

7. Time control: 90 min + 30 sec/move.

8. Top 4 qualify for World Cup, titles/norms possible.

9. Canada has a right to send 1 official player, who is entitled for free food and lodging (in double room). Deadline for CFC to register the official player: Apr 14, 2023.

IM Raja Panjwani will be Canadian official player as he is the highest rated player who expresses interest.
