Excelsior Chess Club's Next Events: Tournaments & GM Lecture!

Excelsior Chess Club is delighted to announce a series of exciting chess events this January! Whether you're a team player, a competitive individual, or an eager learner, we've got something special for you.


1. GTCL Team Championship
Date: Starts January 11th, 2024
Format: 9-round team matches with 4 players per team
Prizes: Trophies for winners, provided by GTCL
Registration: Online registration closed on January 4th

2. January U2000-U1800 Championship
Dates: January 13-14, 2024
Entry Fee: $60 (FREE for Seniors 65+)
Prizes: $2,250 prize fund based on 100 entries
Registration: Online by January 12th, or in person on January 13th

3. Lecture with GM Razvan Preotu
Date: January 17, 2024
Schedule: 7:00pm to 9:00pm
Registration: Online by January 16th, or in person on the day of the event

All events will be held at our welcoming venue at 91 Skyway Ave, Suite 206, Toronto, ON, and overseen by professional referees and experts, ensuring a high-quality chess experience.
