There is a very interesting and thoughtful discussion occuring on chesstalk under the thread name " What can Canada do to nurture its chess talent?"
The thread was started by Hans Jung, but many have shared theirs views, from the youth, the elders, organizers, and average Joe players. Topics have ranged from the role of the CFC, the clubs, the Foundation, sponsorship, finances, and relations with the general public.
I just wanted to alert CFC officials to the discussion. Perhaps they would wish to comment. :) If not, at the very least, I believe it offers valuable member feedback. It never hurts to listen. :D
