What we saw in Ukraine a while back was that the Ukrainians took back part of the areas Russia/Putin annexed illegally in their country. Putin did not at that point have the courage/insanity to use nuclear weapons (tactical/strategic).

These days there is a good chance that Ukraine's coming 2023 counteroffensive might have the goal of taking back the Crimea (and then some). If that counteroffensive is aimed that way, and succeeds (or is looking to), will Putin then decide to use tactical/strategic nuclear weapons, possibly leading to WWIII? Well, it would be quite a humiliation for Putin not to, this time. If as some rumours have it he now has terminal(?) cancer of one sort or another, that reason alone may make him not care if he causes WWIII, any normal lack of courage (or possession of rationality) aside. If he does use tactical nukes, or is about to, I suspect God may massively intervene shortly to avert the world from being incinerated, besides any other things He may have in mind.
