I was tied up yesterday afternoon and could not sign in. I would like to thank Ico van den Born for the nomination and his kind words. I was previously a rating auditor at the Toronto Chess Club on Vaughn Road. My main objective will be to try to avoid excessive inflation and deflation in the ratings. I would like to see them remain roughly equivalent to USCF ratings. I am a retired computer programmer who will be returning to Toronto in March 2023. I will be leaving the ACA Board in October and look forward to spending some time serving the CFC. As for chess experience, I became a FM in 1983. I was Secretary of the Hart House Chess Club from 1980-1984, VP of the Toronto Chess Association, OCA Governor, CFC Governor/Voting Member, ACA Secretary 2018 to present. I have taken some statistic courses at U OF T when an undergraduate.
