Thanks Kevin for a very interesting read. I have heard in the past that Einstein was a modest player, in the 1900 range. Does anyone know about that? Thanks.

Here's the closest thing I found, so far, about Einstein's chess strength. Opinions(?) range from 1400 to 2000+ strength:
