The proposed budget (see GLs'6) has a line


Website and Webzine Development - $10,000 - This is foreseen as a one time cost for redesigning the website an webzine

I would greatly appreciate that there would be presented a vision of the website for 10k.

P.S. What does this suppose to mean?: "SwissSys maintenance fee $1,000"
I think we should charge them for saying "Now the official tournament software of the Chess Federation of Canada." (http://www.swisssys.com)

The maintenance fee is to maintain the license letting everyone in Canada use it for free, and also they do some other database/software work for us.

... SwissSys should do a much better job to improve their product when they promise it. Example: we've been told the program will be fixed to deal properly with round robin tournaments. This has been said/ claimed in writing at least a couple of months ago, but no news yet if anything is being done!... Is it?? :confused:

Nothing... as long as someone wants to make one for free :)
