David Cohen has been very helpful in a number of initiatives as an organizer and historian for chess in Canada and also in Toronto having been one of the two main organizers of the last two Canadian Opens that were held in Toronto. He was also the prime organizer for an attempt to bring the chess Olympiad to Toronto. As such, he has some insight into looking for sponsorship.
