The 2019 Canadian Junior Championship has been awarded to Gary Hua and his team at Elevate My Chess. The event will run from Aug 15-18 at Humber College in Toronto.

Please note that Canada's bid for the 2019 NAYCC submitted by the CFC to the CCA (FIDE America) way back in 2017 has the following parameteres:
Event: North American Youth Chess Championship
Dates: Friday, August 16 through Tuesday, August 20, 2019
Location: Kingston, ON

- which obviously puts the newly announced 2019 Canadian Junior in direct conflict.

As per Hal, Canada's right to hold the 2019 NAYCC shall be finally confirmed at the 89th FIDE Congress in Batumi next month.

Yes. I attached the wrong PDF file. The correct date for the Canadian Junior is August 8-11. I will re-post this once I get the PDF corrected.
