The CFC Regular Chess Post – June 14/13 A– 2013 Eastern Ontario Open.
Starts in One Week!
June 21-23, 2013, in Ottawa
Place : RA Centre, 2451 Riverside Drive, Ottawa - Courtside rooms A & B.
Schedule : Friday 19:30, Saturday and Sunday 10:00 and 15:00
Prizes :
• Open (FIDE rated) : $500, 300, 150 (best U2200 : $200, 100)
• U1900 : $200, 125, 75 (best U1750 : $100)
• U 1600 : $150, 100, 50
Entry fee : $60 for Open and U1900, $40 for U1600 (+$10 on site, +$20 if playing up a section). Amateur entry (no prizes) is $30.
Registration : Cheque by June 14, 2013, payable to: Halldor P. Palsson, 633 Island Park Cr., Ottawa, Ont. K1Y 3P4 or e-mail fs889@ncf.ca
Rules :
• A player must be 100 points or less from the rating floor for the section he wants to play up in.
• CFC/FQE membership is required
• Time control : 90 min +30s/move
• Analog clocks are allowed : 120 min to mate.
• Game sets and clocks are provided.
