Vice President Report - Mark S. Dutton, I.A. / I.O.

I have served the CFC as a Governor for more than 30 years, and the last 2 years have had the opportunity to work with the Executive under the previous Presidency of Bob Gillanders and now with Michael von Keitz.

We have a very good Executive who have managed to accomplish a great deal in the last couple of years. We have a good working relationship and represent the CFC players from coast to coast. I was disappointed to learn that this "Meeting" would be "online" (as I prefer the in person AGM), however, we are moving forward to the "electronic age" and this will give everyone access to the AGM of the Chess Federation.

I have worked as the Chief Arbiter at the 48th Canadian Open (Pinnacle) in Toronto as well as this year at the 49th CO in Victoria, BC.

I am prepared to stand for re-election in the VP capacity for another year, should the Governors support this position. :D
