The CCC Post ( Week of September 2 - 8/11 ).
Q: Wont chess members be happy so long as clubs and tournaments are well-supported? Does it matter what AGM Rights or Between AGM Rights they have?
A: The Cooperative Chess Coalition ( CCC ) believes it does matter! Chess members are a vast pool of talent for the various chess structures. They should look to contribute to the success of chess in Canada. But this means as well, that they must have real opportunities to influence affairs ( rights ), and the chess structures must be inviting for them to volunteer and participate. Chess members have a greater role than just playing chess , though that is the very goal of chess promotion: better playing opportunities for all!
