Two big events in play

1) In China, the World Team Championship is taking place with a lot of the World's best in action: Aronian, Karjakin, Grischuk, Radjabov, Mamedyarov, Gashimov, Kamsky, Svidler, Leko, Nepomniachtchi, Polgar, Sutovsky, etc.

After today's third round, Russia has the lead with 5 points and are followed by Armenia, Ukraine, and Israel all with 4. None of the leaders play tomorrow, with Russia having the toughest match vs Azerbaijan.

We'll check in with some of the individual leaders tomorrow.

2) After two rounds of play in the Biel Elite double round-robin, Magnus Carlsen is off to a quick lead with two wins (6 points). He has picked up victories against Pelletier and Shirov. Second with 4 points is Morozevich. Rounding out the six player field are youngsters Vachier-Lagrave and Caruana.

Both of these events are widely available (live) on the usual sites: Mark Crowther's "This Week in Chess" or Chessdom (for a couple of examples).
