The number of games are over 2.5 months. There has been no Women's Closed event to pick up games like there has been for the men. There are no 'easy' cash grab tournaments for the women like there are for the top men.

I see at least two of the players on the Women's list will be playing in the CYCC and likely others at the Can Open.

There are 5 in CYCC and 7 in CO ..so far. Plus some of them already played in soon to be rated FIDE tournaments.

I can see the next year being the most competitive ever for spots on the Women's team.

On FIDE Active only Women list (May list) top 10 have a average age of 21 years old! The top 17 (Serbanescu Natasa age is not listed) average is 19!

Compared with Men list:
Top 10 average age: 31 years old! Top 17 is 32 years old.

The difference in rating is 473(top 10) and 550 (top 17)!
