At the Asian Continental, Bu Xianzhi drew his game today, but retains a tie for 1st with 16 year old Yu Yangyi, also from China who won his game today. Yu is ranked 7th in China and 3rd worldwide for U18. They both have 3.5/4 and play each other tomorrow. Among those 1/2 pt behind are the Indian trio of Negi, Sasikiran, and Harikrishna.
At Metz, Leon Piasetski lost his game today and tomorrow plays German IM Anatoly Donchenko. Both have 3/6. The tournament is being led by Yuri Solodovnichenko (UKR) with 5.
