Today at the Amber tournament, first Levon Aronian, and then both Magnus Carlsen and Vishy Anand took home 1.5 scores. With only one day remaining the totals of these top 3 are 14.5, 13.5, and 11 respectively.
Once again today at the European Individual Championship, there looked to be more draws than wins on the top boards. Maybe nobody wants to take chances. Anyway the top players with a perfect score are Nepomniachtchi, Motylev, Grachev, Moiseenko, Nisipeanu, Kobalia, Nielsen, Khismatullin, and Potkin. These are the only 2650+ players left with a perfect score - certainly not all household names.
