The 2 CFC boards have 188 registered users.
To see how many of them come to the Boards how often, a sample can be looked at:
Poll: Winner of the Canadian Open? - 72 views
This post got no replies. It has been up for 3 days.
Since the " views " total shows discreet viewers where there are no new postings ( reply posts ), this means 73 of the 188 registered users viewed this thread over 3 days. There may have been other users who also visited the boards in this 3 day period, who did not bother to view this thread, but viewed other threads. So the total members coming over 3 days may be in fact higher than 72.
We can at least conclude that a substantial number of chess players do access the CFC boards over the course of a couple of days. In my view, it justifies their existence.
