SWOCL Annual General Meeting

The Southwestern Ontario Chess League (SWOCL) will hold it's Annual General Meeting (AGM) on the weekend of March 13-14th at the Hamilton Winter Open. Exact time and place to be announced later.

Many SWOCL area club and tournament organizers will be in attendance to
discuss the state of organized chess (local, provincial, and national).

The meeting is open to all organizers, chessplayers and the general public. If you:

are willing to volunteer your time to help promote chess,
are interested in organizing chess tournaments or chess clubs,
have an opinion, suggestion, complaint, or question,
or are just curious about what goes on at these meetings,

you are most welcome to attend. Greater participation and feedback from the players helps all around.

With 3 games scheduled for saturday, the best time for AGM will be sunday morning. So, the AGM will be 9:30am -10:30am on March 14th.

Round 4 begins at 11am, so that gives us plenty of time to solve all the ills of Canadian Chess.

The meeting will be in one of our luxurious skittles rooms.
