Out of curiosity, can you indicate who is on the Selection Committee?

The entire Olympiad committee is here: http://www.chess.ca/contactus.shtml I am not sure whether the selection committee is a subset of the whole.

    Default Selection Committee

Selection Committee includes only Ron Liv****s and Igor Zugic.
Info on the CFC website is outdated.

    1) What is the limiting date for accepting/declining to play?
    2) If some players decline, who are the next (5 or so) on the list to be approached?
    3) Are all players on the list Canadian citizens (i.e. would possession of a Canadian passport be sufficient proof?)?

120 days before Olympiad (starts on Sep 19, thus ~May 19)

    2) If some players decline, who are the next (5 or so) on the list to be approached?
"(a) If a player withdraws, he or she shall be replaced by the next player on the Selection Rating List."
    National: http://www.chesscanada.info/forum/showthread.php?t=860
Women: http://www.chesscanada.info/forum/showthread.php?t=861 (The women list must be updated as Nava Starr is already selected.)

    3) Are all players on the list Canadian citizens (i.e. would possession of a Canadian passport be sufficient proof?)
"(i) A Canadian Citizen or a permanent resident of Canada. Proof of status must be provided to the CFC Executive when a player accepts a position on a Team."
So a passport or a PR card should be sufficient

Thanks for the quick reply. I knew waiting for a reply was faster than looking it up in the Handbook myself. :-)
