Will there be a discussion period before the voting booth opens?
If no other bids come forward, the vote should be sufficient, as the current bidding group has indicated they will not be modifying their terms.
The bid was made by the Chess'n Math Association.
The event would be held in Toronto between Xmas and New Year's 2012-13. It would be a 10-player round robin Championship.
Our objective is to attract the top juniors in the country...in otherwords we want to go back to an event where skill is more important than $$$.

Larry Bevand,
What will a policy for spectators be at this event? (smth similar to youth events (<=18y.) - no spectators in the playing hall, or will it be more relaxed)
If the event would be held close to a subway, I may come for a visit.

2012 (2013 championship) to be continued.
(It would be third time... and may not happen

Hi Larry,
It's understandable that you can't do everything alone.
But we still need to organize 2013 Canadian Girls Championship...
So, the question for you:
Would you be willing to cooperate with another group for the objective to have both 2013 Canadian Junior and Girls Championships at the same place and at the same time as a combined event?
Thank you for your consideration!
Thanks,
Michael Barron
