    On Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at the Willowdale Chess Club took place the 8th Round of the Toronto Closed Chess Championship 2010.

    Round 8 Results are:

    Michael Barron 1 - 0 Wajdy Shebetah
    Michael Kleinman 1 - 0 Michael Kimelman
    Vladimir Semyonov 1/2 - 1/2 Erwin Casareno
    Roman Sapozhnikov - - + Ruperto Frilles


    Standings before the last round (with many postponed games):

    1. Victor Plotkin - 5.5/7
    2. Michael Kleinman - 5/8
    3. Arthur Calugar - 4.5/6
    4. Michael Barron - 4.5/7
    5. Ruperto Frilles - 3.5/8

    But nobody could catch Victor Plotkin who with 7.5 points secured the first place.

    Last game was played at the Willowdale Chess Club on Tuesday, April 13, 2010:

    Roman Sapozhnikov 1 - 0 Michael Kimelman

    So, Roman shared 2nd place with Arthur Calugar.

    The Final Standings:

    2-3. Roman Sapozhnikov and Arthur Calugar - 6.5
