    Default Weekly ratings?

Checking the CFC website today, I see the last ratings update was Dec 30th. What about last week? Last normal weekly update should be Jan 6th.

    Possible explanations are:

There were no tournaments to rate,
    technical difficulties,
staff had time off for Christmas,
or the CFC has abondoned weekly updates.

Can somebody from CFC please advise why no rating update last week?

    Just asking.

I think it is an issue with software (as you may noticed it requires 2010/01-2010/06 tab which is absent)

    Try this link http://www.chess.ca/xtable.asp?TNum=201001001
    and you'll get a 2010 tournament
Thus, by changing "201001001" last digit by +1 you may get all rated tournaments (I've not done that

Thanks Egid, I did notice the 2010 tab was missing. That's any easy fix that I guess was just overlooked. All the little things we miss when the calendar changes over, I wonder how many people are still writing 2009 on their cheques.

The software the CFC is using to update the site was having some trouble two weeks ago, so it may just be that they are still unable to edit the date without messing up the whole page.

I'm going to try and get in touch with them on Wednesday when I have some free time during business hours to get it solved.

Note. I don't KNOW that this is the problem, just speculation.

Checking the CFC website today at
    http://www.chess.ca/crosstables.shtml
I see the last ratings update was January 6, 2010.

I think, the difference is in this little 's' before html.
    Thanks,
    Michael Barron

Thanks Michael. It appears there are 2 almost identical pages, one with the little 's', and the older page without the little 's'.

I had the older page bookmarked, and so I was looking at that page. That page still has the google warning on it and is not updated for Jan 6th. The newer page (with the little 's') doesn't have the google warning and is updated for Jan 6th. Okay, so I'll update my bookmark.

Oh I guess we should get rid of the old pages now that the new ones seem to be working fine.
