Secretary of the OCA

Greetings,

I just want to make it clear that I have resigned the position of the Secretary of the Ontario Chess Association. I simply could maintain a level of service that is required of the position.

My understanding from the President of the OCA, Chris Mallon, is that the OCA Executive will appoint a new Secretary.

I would encourage the executive to appoint an OCA member that is outside of the South Western Ontario Chess League as currently the rest of the executive position are held by members of SWOCL.

This is not entirely true. The Treasurer, Brett Campbell, is certainly not a SWOCL member. At the same time, I appreciate the sentiment.
