Regrettably the Hostage Chess Championship, scheduled for December 1-3, has been cancelled.

​​​​​​​Efforts to promote this wonderful chess Canadian variant will continue. I still believe that it has the same potential as Fischer/960 and I look forward to the day when it is supported by online platforms such as Chess.com and Lichess.
