Registration Open for FIDE Youth Chess Championships 2023@MONTESILVANO (PE), ITALY
The organizers, International Chess Federation FIDE and Italian Chess Federation together with UniChess, and Le Due Torri srl and ASD Fischer Chieti, are inviting all national chess federations of FIDE to participate in the World Youth Chess Championships 2023. The dates are 12 November (arrivals) to 25 November 2023 (departures).

TOURNAMENT DETAILS
There will be six sections: Open and Girls in age categories Under 14, Under 16, and Under 18.
A player's age as of Jan. 1, 2023 determines their age eligibility for a section.
Under 14: Players born on or after January 1, 2009
Under 16: Players born on or after January 1, 2007
Under 18: Players born on or after January 1, 2005.
TIME CONTROL
The tournament will be played using the Swiss System with 11 rounds. The national rankings will not be taken into account for pairings.
The rate of play will be in accordance with the FIDE rules: 90 minutes for the first 40 moves plus 30 minutes, plus an addition of 30 seconds per move starting from move one.
Default time is 15 minutes.
No draw offers are allowed before 30 moves by each player, without the consent of the arbiter. All other regulations apply as per FIDE Handbook.

ACCOMMODATIONS
For security and organizational reasons, all Canadian participants will stay at the same official hotel, and will book through CFC. The organizer offers the the accommodation for 13 nights (Nov 12 - 25) with meals included from dinner on Nov 12 to breakfast on Nov 25.
Hotel fee is calculated per person per day.
REGISTRATION - Deadline Aug 15, 2023
CFC is accepting entries for eligible players until Aug 15. No registrations will be accepted after deadline date.
The Aug 15 deadline is set to provide enough time for administrative to meet the organizers' deadline.

Upon completion the form, CFC will send an invoice which must be paid by the required deadline.
Please note, the following additional fees will be charged: € stand for euro
FIDE Entry Fee - Official player : 70€/player, additional player: 140€/player
Tournament Registration Free - players, accompanying officials, parents - $100 €/person
Airport transfer - free from Pescara Airport, Pescara bus station or train station
CFC Administrative Fee - $100 CAD/player
A Canada-flagged FIDE ID is required for all Canadian players.

OFFICIAL REPRESENTATIVES
The 2023 CYCC Champions from U14, U16 and U18 open and girl sections.
Official Representatives will receive a travel sponsorship of up to $1000 from CFC, and are reimbursed for entry fees, and administrative fees.
Travel and all fees for accompanying persons are the player’s responsibility.
All Official players who plan to attend must be registered by the Aug 15, 2023, deadline.
