ottawacitizen.com/opinion/Denley: Ottawa mayor [former Ontario liberal cabinet minister] Jim Watson should just stick to his knitting - meaning city of Ottawa priorities - and not pretend to do the work of the province or feds:
https://ottawacitizen.com/opinion/de...ovince-or-feds
While Watson has over the years played most city councilors like puppets and bobble-heads, e.g. with plum-positions rewards or punishments (as councilor Diane Deans once publicly alluded to), years ago a politically naive conservative-minded businessman became Ottawa mayor - then spent his time fighting trumped-up charges while the (as ever) left-wing councilors took advantage like vultures:

Fwiw, Donald Trump had some (rather immature) nicknames for political opponents - here's a few nicknames borrowed from the 1960's Batman TV series that I can suggest for prominent Ontario liberal politicians: Watson - Sandman (puts the unwary to sleep with his B.S.); Dalton McGuinty - False Face (e.g. 'I will not raise your taxes') and Kathleen Wynne - The Joker (partly due to hairstyle, mostly due to radical social stances, e.g. moirally outrageous elementary school sex-ed curriculum).
