    Default Voting members....

    This topic may have come up before. There used to be a list of all the Voting Members on chess.ca . I'm not sure if it was removed at one point, but there is an "Under Construction" indication next to "Voting Members" now. Will it be implemented? Is this information public? If not - why shouldn't CFC members know who their provincial voters are? The Quebec ones were listed on the "Incoming" topic.

    As of Saturday morning, 47 Voting Members have signed in to the "Incoming" topic. That seems to be well above normal. How many Voting Members do we have in total that would have been eligible to vote?

    The Law is much stiffer than it used to be concerning access to the list of the members.

    In theory, nobody can access the register of the members without first signing a written statement in which he takes the engagement of using such information for lawful purpose only, those purpose being

    (a) an effort to influence the voting of members;

    (b) requisitioning a meeting of members; or

    (c) any other matter relating to the affairs of the corporation.

    The Law tries to protect the members from spam and identity theft.

    Quebec's list (3 persons) are in one of the threads in the Incoming meeting.
