How to get more traffic & posts to CFC Forums?

Hopefully, over time, this new Off-Topic sub-forum may help.

Here's a related link from the English Chat forum, re: rate of CFC Discussion Board members' visits over time (and also re: frequency of their posting being low on average); it seems to be chiefly CFC Voting Members (formerly called Governors) who post most, especially during the time of online CFC meetings here:

Pertaining (nowadays) to the English Chat forum only, another thread link, re: my suggested list of [chess-related] topics for threads:

Lastly, here's another thread link from English Chat, re: Active blogs (existing blogs and their entries may give a clue on what might be especially popular topics to post on):

Here's a result I got when I googled about increasing the number of viewers to a message board; much of the advice wouldn't be useful here nowadays, but maybe some of the advice is:

How to get more visitors on my forum:

Tonight I noticed there were 15 visitors at one point to this Non-chess related topics forum (with only 8 for the English Chat forum). A short while later 8 had left. It's clear my posting mainly links here, and not having opinion/posts by many CFC Discussion Board members, is not sufficing. I could post my own opinions much more, however little-informed, if it would help entertain, if no one else does. Otherwise, this Discussion Board is still too much of a library IMHO, and not just re: this little forum that still is growing, little-by-little.

P.S.: Of the people who have posted much at all on CFC Discussion Board forums, I noticed in an earlier study of this community that they are overwhelmingly CFC Voting Members (formerly called Governors), which may be handy to summon attention and participation, if trying to encourage more use of this Board (outside of the occasional VM meetings).

Fwiw, here's a link re: topics to talk about [many would seem to be appropriate enough for written conversation or posts on internet forums; some already have {fairly to strongly related} threads devoted to them in this very non-chess related topics sub-forum]:

    https://conversationstartersworld.co...to-talk-about/

Also fwiw, here's a link discussing how to talk about some things (politics, religion) that the above link alludes to as being taboo [in line with common wisdom of old - the topic of money is also thrown in for good measure; other websites also allude that anything to do with sex is taboo, in addition to or in place of money]:
