Default 6.4 Nominations for National Appeals Committee (5 to be elected)

The CFC National Appeals Committee is established under Handbook section 12 and is provided for the benefit of

"Any player (or TD when his decision was overruled by the local appeals committee) affected by the decision of a local appeals committee may appeal that decision to the National Appeals Committee"

Members of the NAC are expected to be familiar with both the rules of the CFC Handbook and the FIDE Laws of Chess. It is not necessary to be an International Arbiter or FIDE Arbiter to be elected though many past NAC members are. The committee meets on an ad hoc basis when an appeal is made to the NAC.

The 2017-18 National Appeals Committee was Ilia Bluvshtein, Lyle Craver, Mark Dutton, Chris Mallon, Egidijus Zeromskis

There are 5 (five) positions to be elected - please place your nominations here.

I am prepared to continue to serve on this committee.

I have served as Chairman of this NAC for many years and would be happy to continue.

    Mark S. Dutton, I.A., I.O.

International Arbiter, International Organizer. CFC Past President: 2013-14.

I'll put my name with a condition. In case I'll be elected in one of the Executives positions, I'd remove myself from the NAC if elected here too.

You realize of course that Executive members are eligible to serve on the National Appeals Committee - both Mark Dutton and myself have done so.

    Either way that's your choice.
