    Here's the wiki re: humidex; note that the record value recorded in Canada was in Manitoba 2007 (before that the record was held by Windsor, Ontario, Canada's southernmost point, since 1953) - I've seen on the internet search results showing that high humidity levels might be the world's downfall (that is, assuming belief in manmade global warming):
