Thanks, but I'm not that nice.

The books were paid for from the $2 fees I collected from non-RACC members who played in the Sunday Rapid over the past year+. The remainder paid for the paint for the cabinet.

PS: If no one stops Armando's reign of Sunday Rapid terror, I may have to come back to stop him myself on Jan 12... or die trying.

Nine players braved the cold and found their way through the labyrinth for the Sunday Rapid tournament on February 9th. Paul Beckwith emerged as the clear winner with a clean sweep of 5 points, followed at some distance by Mike Schofield with 3.5. LTD was Gordon Ritchie. We do it all again next week. Forgive the formatting---Swisssys is a pain.

Dusan Simic cruised to 4.5 out of 5 to win the tournament and the book prize, giving up only one draw with second place finisher Mike Schofield. There were eleven contestants. We play again next Sunday at 1 p.m. at the RA Centre. Newcomers welcome.
