Last call for interested players. We have three solid master strength boys. We need a strong girl and perhaps one more player though it is possible that we might be able to make do with just one more girl or just one more boy but in that case everyone will have to play every round. GM Gergely Szabo will likely be the captain/coach if we can get enough interested players.

At the moment I don't have enough players to send a team though we have a world class coach, Gergely Szabo willing to be involved in this.

What would be involved in sending arbiters?

    The CFC should know that.

Because the arbiter performs a useful task for the organizer, I expect that it should cost the CFC and the arbiter nothing. It sometime cost something, but in this case, the TD fee is more then the cost. Being an arbiter should not be a money loosing operation for neither the arbiter nor his Federation.

That's all well and good but we don't even know if we have a team at this point. I have three boys and no girls.

We certainly have girls in Canada. Have you asked Maïli-Jade Ouellet?

We have talked to Maili-Jade's mother in email, and we are awaiting her decision. I would say that chances are good that we will have a team representing all regions of the country. We have four boys confirmed interested all of whom are above 2200 CFC or FIDE.

This team is looking very strong and has real chances for the top-10 finish. Good luck!
