The CFC National Appeals Committee is the "court of final appeal" for tournament related rulings in Canada. It is governed by section 12 of the CFC Handbook and consists of FIVE members who are required to be adult CFC members. It is expected that the committee will consist of members expert in both CFC and FIDE regulations governing play. The NAC does its business primarily by e-mail and is called on a case by case basis - this is infrequent and could possibly not even meet during a single year.

FIVE positions are to be elected. (nominations close at 6pm ET August 11 - day 3, elections for contested positions continue through 6pm ET August 15 - day 7)
