Default CFC Website - new hosting

As I have mentioned on another thread, the CFC website has moved to a new hosting site.
The new address is spreading throughout the internet.

If you are unable to access ratings and crosstables, your server is not directing you to the new site yet.
You can try refreshing, clearing the cache, etc. otherwise just be patient. Some are reporting access, and it should be just a matter of time until everyone has access.

    Myself, no access yet.

Please post here when you get access. It will spread hope to the rest of us.

So far, so good. But the real test will be when everyone has access. Then we will see how it performs.

I am keeping my expectations low.
I am hoping we will see some website performance improvement, since this may only be the first step.

Do you have an alternative email address to receive tournament's results to rate them?

I can't get into the ratings on the new site.

My father had a pseudo-biblical quote: "Blessed is he that expecteth little, for he will not be disappointed."

If ratings are not working, you are still connected to the old website address.

Early exit polls indicate most should be connected to new address.
    But still not me.

    It is driving me crazy.

My unscientific survey shows about 2/3 are connected to the new website address.
If you see a picture of the newsletter cover on the homepage, good.
Try the ratings, see if they work okay.

If instead, you see a picture of Bob Armstrong, you are still connected to the old site address.

Just to be clear, I didn't pick Bob's picture because he is old, but because he would be recognizable to the people I was going to survey.

Latest update, about 24 hours after the switch.

About 60% report connected to the new website, everything works well.
About 10% report a connection to the new website, but then lose it. Oops!
About 30% report still get the old website.

    To recap:
If you see a picture of Bob Armstrong on the homepage, you are still connected to the old website. You can't access ratings data.
If you see a picture of the newsletter cover, you win. Everything should work.

I am in the 10% group.

Until about an hour ago I was also in the 30% (getting the old website) but I now get the new site (chess.ca).

PS: I assume everyone realizes that the CFC forums are not hosted on the same site as the CFC home site (neither the old one nor the new one).
    Good luck with this Bob!

Are you with Cogeco? I am, and I am still not switched over.
I passed on your suggestion about the refresh time on old server to Resolution. I asked them to do it, but that was just 5 minutes ago.
